![]() | Remove the two screws and take the cover off the reservoir. Set the reservoir on it's side with the hex socket plug facing up. Remove the plug and fill to the top with the RV anti-freeze or water. Do not use any other type of fluid. (Caution: Adding water increases the likelihood of developing air bubbles in the system, especially in extremely hot conditions.) Loosely replace the plug, then set the reservoir flat. |
![]() | Carefully back the plug out and drain until the diaphragm is well below the top of the reservoir, the diaphragm must not touch the cover when replaced. If there is any air present it should be less than the size of a dime. Tighten the brass plug snug, do not over tighten, and replace the cover. |
![]() | Set the reservoir higher than you will be holding the display. Hold the display upside down with the tubing pointed toward the floor. Loosen the brass socket plug and carefully back it out until the fluid starts to weep out. Usually 6 to 12 drops will be enough to remove the air. It may help to bump the end of the display with the palm of your hand to make sure no bubbles are trapped. Tighten the plug snug, do not over tighten. |
